Tampa Bay Lightning forward Alex Killorn will miss Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Montreal Canadiens, head coach Jon Cooper announced Friday.
Killorn missed Game 2 on Wednesday — a 3-1 Lightning victory — after blocking a Jeff Petry shot in Game 1 and playing just four shifts for the rest of the night afterwards.
Cooper subsequently said Killorn is considered day-to-day for the series.
The 31-year-old has eight goals and 17 points in 19 post-season games for the Lightning.
The Lightning will meet the Canadiens for Game 3 Friday night at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sportsnet looking to push Montreal to the brink of elimination.
