Lightning's Hedman, Point day-to-day with lower-body injuries

The Tampa Bay Lightning are missing two of their top players because of lower-body injuries.

Star defenceman Victor Hedman and centre Brayden Point were ruled out of Sunday's game against the Anaheim Ducks and are listed as day-to-day.

Point is second on the team in scoring with 80 points in 70 games, while Hedman is third with 69 points in 68 games.

The Lightning entered play Sunday holding the first wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
