The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without one of their stars on Saturday.
Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov will not play in Saturday's tilt against the Toronto Maple Leafs and is listed as day to day, the team announced.
The 2019 Hart Trophy winner appeared to sustain an injury in the first period of Friday's 3-2 OT win over the Nashville Predators.
Kucherov headed to the team's locker room late in the first period after attempting to get around Predators defenceman Adam Wilsby in the offensive zone.
However, he would return later in the game and even assisted on Brayden Point's overtime winner.
Kucherov, 31, leads the Lightning in points this season with 34 (12 goals, 22 assists) in 22 games.
