Los Angeles Kings sign goalie Pheonix Copley to one-year deal

The Los Angeles Kings signed goaltender Pheonix Copley on Wednesday to a one-year deal worth $825,000.

Copley, a 30-year-old from North Pole, Alaska, has spent the majority of his career in the minor leagues.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound netminder has played 31 NHL games with St. Louis and Washington since 2015, sporting a 2.98 goals-against average and .900 save percentage in the NHL.
