The Toronto Maple Leafs assigned defenceman Philippe Myers to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on a conditioning loan Saturday.
Myers has played one game with the Maple Leafs this season, appearing in the team's 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins on Oct. 26. He did not register any points and was a minus-1 in 12:11 of ice time.
The 27-year-old from Moncton, N.B., signed as a free agent with the Maple Leafs during the summer.
He has 36 points (eight goals and 28 assists) in 159 career games over seven seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning and Maple Leafs.
