The Toronto Maple Leafs were down yet another forward on Wednesday night after Bobby McMann left in the second period and was ruled out shortly after the start of the third.
McMann immediately skated to the Maple Leafs dressing room without putting any pressure on his right skate in the middle of a rush up the ice with just over four minutes remaining in the second. Toronto ruled him out with a lower-body injury.
After the game, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube had no further updates on McMann's status and said that further evaluation would be needed.
