The Toronto Maple Leafs blue line is back at full health.
Jake McCabe will make his return to the lineup against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday after missing the last five games with an upper-body injury.
The 31-year-old defenceman was injured back on Nov. 30 after getting hit in the side of the head by a point shot from Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Nick Perbix.
McCabe was skating alongside his usual defensive partner Chris Tanev at practice.
The veteran defenceman has five assists in 23 games for the Maple Leafs this season.
Toronto also assigned defenceman Marshall Rifai to the AHL Marlies on Thursday morning.
