The Hildebeast is getting his fourth start of the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs had coach Craig Berube confirmed to reporters after the team's morning skate that goaltender Dennis Hildeby will start Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Hildeby, 23, is 2-1 with a 3.68 goals-against average and .875 save percentage with the Leafs this season.
He was recalled from the AHL on Dec. 30 with Toronto's top goaltender, Anthony Stolarz, still on injured reserve. With Stolarz on the shelf, Joseph Woll has been the team's new No. 1 and has started the Maple Leafs' past three games.
Berube also confirmed to reporters that there will be no other lineup changes from Saturday's 6-4 win over the Boston Bruins, which means Auston Matthews will remain in the lineup after making his return on Saturday.
You can watch Hildeby, Matthews and the rest of the Maple Leafs take on the Flyers live on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ starting at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
