The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without defenceman Jake Muzzin for at least three weeks, head coach Sheldon Keefe said Monday.
Muzzin was forced out of Game 6 of the team’s first-round series against the Montreal Canadiens with a lower-body injury.
The Woodstock, Ont., native has been one of the Maple Leafs best players all series, highlighted by his two-goal performance in Game 5. Rasmus Sandin, who had been alternating a lineup spot with Travis Dermott, will dress in Muzzin’s place for Game 7 Monday.
