The Toronto Maple Leafs loaned forward Alex Steeves to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on Monday.
Steeves, who has yet to play with the Maple Leafs this season, has 18 points (11 goals and seven assists) in 14 games with the Marlies.
The 23-year-old from St. Paul, Minn., played six games with the Maple Leafs over the previous two seasons and recorded one assist.
Steeves signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Maple Leafs in March 2021 after spending three seasons with Notre Dame.
