Toronto Maple Leafs winger Max Domi did not take part in practice and is day-to-day with an injury, coach Sheldon Keefe said Friday.
Noah Gregor skated in his place on a line with Auston Matthews and Tyler Bertuzzi ahead of Saturday's game against the Red Wings.
However, the Leafs head coach said there's a chance Domi could be in the lineup against Detroit.
Domi and William Nylander are the only two Leafs who have played all 79 games this season. The 29-year-old has nine goals and 38 assists.
With only three games remaining in the regular season and the Stanley Cup playoffs on the horizon, load management could also come into play.
