Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Jake McCabe won't play on Wednesday against the Buffalo Sabres because of illness, the team said.
Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said at morning skate a flu bug was going around the room.
It appears William Lagesson will replace McCabe, who has six goals and 16 assists in 55 games this season.
Keefe said forward David Kampf would be a game-time decision, but he was on the ice for warm-up.
