The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed forward Pontus Holmberg to a two-year contract worth $800,000 annually, the team announced Wednesday.
The 24-year-old dressed for 37 regular season games for the Maple Leafs in 2022-23, with five goals and eight assists recorded.
He was originally selected by the Maple Leafs in the sixth round of the 2018 NHL Draft and has spent the past two seasons in the Maple Leafs' organization.
Earlier today, the Maple Leafs also re-signed forward David Kampf to a four-year contract worth $9.6 million.
