The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Nick Robertson from the AHL's Toronto Marlies.

The 20-year-old recently returned from a non-displaced fracture of his right fibula which he suffered a couple of games into the season with the Toronto Marlies. In nine AHL games this season, Robertson has three goals and eight points.

Robertson has appeared in six career games with the Leafs registering an assist. The California native was selected in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft by Toronto.

The move comes after forward Ilya Mikheyev left Thursday night's game against the Minnesota Wild with a non-COVID illness.
