The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled goaltender Dennis Hiledeby from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an emergency basis Friday.
The move comes after netminder Anthony Stolarz left Thursday's 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks due to a lower-body injury.
Hildeby made his NHL debut earlier this season and appeared in two games with the Maple Leafs, recording a 1-1-0 record, 4.03 goals against average and .869 save percentage.
He also holds a 2-2-2 record, 2.73 GAA and .897 save percentage in six games with the Marlies.
The 23-year-old from Jarfalla, Sweden, was drafted in the fourth round, 122nd overall, by the Maple Leafs in 2022.
