Toronto Maple Leafs forward Ryan O'Reilly is set to return to action Thursday against the Boston Bruins.
O'Reilly announced his return after practicing with the team on Wednesday.
O'Reilly, the 2019 Conn Smythe winner, resumed skating with the Leafs on March 25 after having surgery to repair a broken finger.
O’Reilly fractured the index finger on his left hand when it was struck by a shot by Auston Matthews in Vancouver on March 4, and he had surgery to fix the digit on March 7 in New Jersey.
Acquired from the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 17, O’Reilly has three goals and two assists for five points in eight games with the Leafs.
