The Toronto Maple Leafs have selected Fraser Minten with the 38th-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

The 18-year-old from Vancouver spent the past two seasons in the WHL for the Kamloops Blazers.

Minten put up 20 goals and 35 assists in his second season for the Blazers during the 2021-22 season. In the playoffs, he added six goals and 10 assists to his tally. The Blazers went on to reach the WHL semifinals, falling to the Seattle Thunderbirds in seven games.
