Maple Leafs sign Adam Gaudette to one-year, $750K deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Adam Gaudette to one-year deal worth $750,000 on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old from Braintree, Mass., started last season with the Chicago Blackhawks before being picked up off waivers by the Ottawa Senators. He had 14 points in 58 games. Gaudette was a 2015, fifth-round pick of the Vancouver Canucks. He has 70 points in 218 NHL regular-season games.
