Maple Leafs sign forward Jimmy Vesey to one-year, $900K contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Jimmy Vesey to a one-year, $900,000 contract, the team announced Sunday.

The 27-year-old recorded 20 points in 60 games for the Buffalo Sabres last season.

In 304 NHL games with the Sabres and New York Rangers, the former third-round pick has collected 110 points.
