The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Nikita Grebyonkin to a three-year entry-level.
Grebyonkin recently guided Metallurg Magnitogorsk to a Gagarin Cup title in the KHL. He was second on the team in scoring through the regular season, posting 19 goals and 41 points in 67 games.
The contract will begin immediately, which means Grebyonkin will be able to burn a year off his entry-level contract. The deal carries a $875,00 salary cap hit.
The Leafs selected Grebyonkin in the fifth round, 135th overall, in the 2022 NHL Draft.
