One of the main reasons the Toronto Maple Leafs trail the Boston Bruins in their first-round series has been special teams.
That hasn't changed in Game 4 and Maple Leafs fans are beginning to lose patience.
After Bruins captain Brad Marchand scored a power-play goal midway through the second period, fans voiced their frustration on social media. The goal extended the Bruins' special teams lead to 6-1 in the series and came after the Maple Leafs had failed to convert on two power plays of their own.
The Bruins finished the game 1-3 on the powerplay while the Maple Leafs were 0-3 on the man advantage. Boston won the game 3-1 and can eliminate the Maple Leafs with a win in Game 5 on Tuesday.
Here are some of the many reactions to the special-teams battle.
