Matt Duchene is staying in the Central Division, joining the Dallas Stars on a one-year, $3-million contract, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
The singing comes hours after the Nashville Predators processed a buyout of the scoring centre, making him a free agent.
Duchene is two years removed from setting a new career high with 43 goals. This season he led Nashville in goals with 22 and was second on the team with 56 points.
Duchene, 32, has skated in 976 games over his 15-year career.
