We're all used to seeing Connor McDavid casually dangle through a whole team from one end of the ice to the other, but it turns out he's got a lot of hustle to go with that skill.
In the second period of Saturday's matinee game against the Ottawa Senators, McDavid relentlessly chased down Thomas Chabot, knocking him off balance to steal the puck in the Oilers' offensive zone. Then he used some of his world-class skill to lay a no-look, spin-o-rama backhand pass on a platter for Ryan McLeod, 3-1 Edmonton. Oh yeah, and it was shorthanded.
What can't he do?
It's not his greatest play ever, it may not even be in the top five (the bar is pretty high), but McDavid's combination of hustle and skill had people reacting on social media.
