The Montreal Canadiens signed defenceman Corey Schueneman to a one-year, two-way deal on Monday, general manager Kent Hughes announced.
The deal pays $750,000 at the NHL level and $275,000 in the AHL.
The native fo Milford, MI., had four goals and seven assists in 32 games with the Laval Rocket last season, to go with two goals and four assists in 24 games with the Canadiens.
