Forward Morgan Geekie has agreed to a two-year, $4-million deal with the Boston Bruins, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
Geekie, 24, had a career-high nine goals and 19 assists in 28 games with the Seattle Kraken this past season.
The Kraken did not qualify Geekie prior to Friday's deadline, making him a UFA.
In 180 career games with the Carolina Hurricanes and Kraken, Geekie has 22 goals and 41 assists for 63 points.
The native of Strathclair, Man. was picked in the third round (67th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft by Carolina.
