The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Cam Squires to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced on Friday.
The six-foot-one, 19-year-old played his third year in the QMJHL during the 2023-2024 season. Across 66 games with Cape Breton, Squires hit career highs in goals (33), assists (39), and points (72). He also added nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points through 14 playoff games.
The Charlottetown native was a fourth-round selection by New Jersey in the 2023 NHL draft.
