The NHL revealed five more additions for the upcoming NHL All-Star Game in Toronto, with three goalies and two forwards joining the group.
Goalies Sergei Bobrovsky (Panthers), Jeremy Swayman (Bruins) and Alexandar Georgiev (Avalanche) joined Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl and Colorado Avalanche defenceman Cale Makar.
NHL All-Star weekend will take place in Toronto from Feb. 1-3, culminating in the All-Star Game on the Saturday at 3 p.m. ET / noon PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
Thirty-two players (one from each franchise) were originally named to the game, with the remaining positions being determined by fan voting.
The NHL also announced the first five players for the All-Star skills competition: Connor McDavid (Oilers), Draisaitl, David Pastrnak (Bruins), Nikita Kucherov (Lightning) and Jack Hughes (Devils).
The NHL plans to announce the remaining seven fan selections for the game and the skills competition during the Hockey Night in Canada pre-game show before the 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT game between the Avalanche and Maple Leafs.
