It was a rough night for NHL players on Thursday.
Injuries were a major story across the league on a busy night.
Here's a roundup of where things stand.
Oilers forward Connor Brown exited Thursday's game against the Dallas Stars with an apparent lower-body injury during the second period.
Brown appeared to suffer the injury while pushing off after a faceoff.
Brown, 29, signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Oilers prior to this season, but $3.225 million of that comes in a bonus for 10 games played.
Thursday was Brown's ninth game. He doesn't have a point this season.
Brown played just four games for the Washington Capitals last season as he suffered an ACL injury.
Senators forward Ridly Greig and Mark Kastelic are doubtful for the next few games after suffering lower-body injuries in a loss to the Los Angeles Kings, coach DJ Smith said Thursday.
The 21-year-old Greig suffered the injury early in the first period while battling for the puck with Kings forward Adrian Kempe.
Greig entered Thursday's game with two goals and seven points in eight games this season and saw an increased role with Shane Pinto's absence from the lineup.
In the second period, Kastelic exited after he lost an edge and crashed into the boards.
Rangers star defenceman Adam Fox and forward Filip Chytil will be re-evaluated Friday after suffering injuries in Thursday's win over the Carolina Hurricanes, coach Peter Laviolette told reporters.
Fox exited after the first period with a lower-body injury.
Fox didn't play the final five minutes of the first period after a knee-on-knee collision with Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho.
The play went unpenalized.
"I didn't like the hit," Laviolette said.
Fox is a two-time all-star and won the Norris Trophy as the league's top defenceman in 2021.
Fox, 25, has three goals and eight assists in 10 games this season. He had 72 points in 82 games last year.
Meanwhile, Chytil was ruled out after the second period with an upper-body injury.
Canadiens forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard exited Thursday's game against the Arizona Coyotes after suffering a lower-body injury, the team announced.
He was hit in the second period by Coyotes defenceman Troy Stecher, sending him tumbling awkwardly into the boards, and laboured to the bench. He eventually went to the dressing room.
The 24-year-old appeared to be injured in the first period, but was able to return to the game for the second.
Harvey-Pinard had been playing alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield on the Canadiens' top line, where he tallied four points in nine games.
Maple Leafs defenceman Timothy Liljegren is expected to miss "significant time" with a lower-body injury suffered Thursday against the Boston Bruins, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe.
Liljegren needed assistance to the trainer's room and was favouring his left leg following a high-speed, first-period trip by Brad Marchand that sent him crashing hard into the end boards.
Further medical assessment will be necessary back in Toronto, where the Maple Leafs are flying back to prepare for Saturday's home date versus the Buffalo Sabres.
The Leafs' thinning blue line is already operating without Jake McCabe, who suffered a groin injury last week in Dallas.
