The 2024 NHL trade deadline has come and gone, and while we had trades sprinkling in throughout the day, the best, boldest and most surprising was saved for last.
And, of course, the Vegas Golden Knights were at the front of it.
Check out how the day unfolded in our blog below, from Winnipeg adding Tyler Toffoli, to Carolina getting both Jake Guentzel and Evgeny Kuznetsov, and the Devils -- finally -- acquiring two goalies. We finished with the Vegas Golden Knights pulling off a blockbuster for Tomas Hertl, which gives them a nearly $100 million lineup for the playoffs if everyone were healthy, and some interesting cap choices heading into next season.
And that's where we'll leave it today. This evening, columnists from across Canada will weigh in on all the action of the day, including an overarching winners and losers piece as attention will now turn to what it all means for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
