The Arizona Coyotes signed forward Nick Bjugstad to a one-year deal for $900,000 on Wednesday.
"We are very pleased to have Nick join the Coyotes," said Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. "He is a big, strong, two-way forward who will provide experience and leadership. We look forward to having him on our roster next season."
Bjugstad had seven goals and six assists in 57 games with the Minnesota Wild last season.
The Minneapolis native has 110 goals and 127 assists in 540 career NHL games with the Wild, Pittsburgh Penguins and Florida Panthers.
The Panthers picked Bjugstad in the first round (19th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
