The Edmonton Oilers have acquired veteran defenceman Dmitry Kulikov from the New Jersey Devils for a conditional fourth-round pick in 2022.
Kulikov, 30, has spent the past 38 games with New Jersey after a three-season stint in Winnipeg. He played one season in Buffalo prior to his Jets tenure, and seven years with the Florida Panthers to begin his career.
The veteran rearguard has two points on the season, averaging 19:33 minutes per game for the Devils. He’s averaged more than 20 minutes per night in seven of his 12 years in the big leagues, including last season with the Jets.
