The Edmonton Oilers have acquired defenceman Troy Stecher and a 2024 seventh-round pick from the Arizona Coyotes, the team announced Thursday.
In exchange, the Coyotes receive a 2027 fourth-round pick in the trade.
The 29-year-old has one goal and four assists in 47 games this season with Arizona.
A native of Richmond, B.C., Stecher has previously played for the Vancouver Canucks, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames.
Over 487 career NHL games, Stecher has 19 goals and 89 assists for a total of 108 points.
