The Edmonton Oilers are adjusting their lineup once again, and the most notable change for Game 3 is that forward Evander Kane will be out.
The 32-year-old has been dealing with a sports hernia but had not been held out of the lineup until now. He played just over 10 minutes in the Oilers' 4-1 Game 2 loss on Monday.
The team has also opted to pull forward Sam Carrick and defenceman Vincent Desharnais out of the lineup, while forwards Corey Perry and Derek Ryan, along with defenceman Cody Ceci, draw back in against the Florida Panthers.
Perry, 39, returns to play after being a healthy scratch for Game 2. In Game 1 of the Cup Final, Perry took an interference penalty in the third period that hurt the Oilers' chances to make a comeback. In 14 appearances over these Stanley Cup Playoffs, Perry has recorded just one assist.
Ceci, 30, played in Game 1 but was replaced by Desharnais for Game 2. Ryan, 37, is making his first appearance in the final.
The Panthers currently lead the series 2-0. Catch Game 3 on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ starting at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT.
