As the Edmonton Oilers take on the Florida Panthers on Thursday night, they will have to do so without Darnell Nurse.
Ahead of the matchup, Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch announced that Nurse will not be in the lineup and is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
The 30-year-old defenceman has played 55 games this season, recording four goals and 18 assists for 22 points, in addition to a plus-8.
He missed three consecutive games in November after taking a hit to the head from Toronto Maple Leafs forward Ryan Reaves.
