The Edmonton Oilers are expected to be at full strength for Monday's Game 1 against the Los Angeles Kings.
Evander Kane and Mattias Janmark are both expected to be in the lineup on Monday, the team announced.
The pair of wingers will start the game beside centre Sam Carrick on the team's fourth line. Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said Sunday that Kane's stint on the fourth line could only last five to 10 minutes before he is worked back into his usual spot on the top six.
Both Janmark and Kane didn't practise on Saturday, putting their status for Game 1 in question. But they both returned to the ice on Sunday.
Kane is dealing with a sports hernia, and admitted Sunday that even if he does play, he may not be up to full speed. Janmark's injury is undisclosed.
Kane scored the fourth most goals for the Oilers this season, with 24. He was the team's seventh-leading scorer, with 44 points.
Janmark appeared in 71 games this season scoring four goals and 12 points.
The Oilers also announced on Monday that they have recalled defenceman Philip Broberg from AHL Bakersfield. Broberg is not expected to be in the team's lineup for Game 1.
You can watch the Oilers open their series against the Kings on Monday starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
