Edmonton Oilers forwards Evander Kane and Mattias Janmark were not on the ice for practice on Saturday, prompting speculation about their health for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Head coach Kris Knoblauch provided an update after practice saying he expected both Kane and Janmark to practice Sunday. Knoblauch also didn't rule out either player for Game 1.
Kane scored the fourth most goals for the Oilers this season, with 24. He was the team's seventh leading scorer, with 44 points.
The native of Vancouver missed all three games the Oilers had this week with an undisclosed injury. His last game was a week ago in a 3-1 loss to the Canucks, where he logged almost 20 minutes of ice and scored a goal.
Janmark appeared in 71 games this season scoring four goals and 12 points.
The Oilers' first-round series against Los Angeles does not begin until Monday, when Edmonton hosts the Kings.
