Edmonton Oilers forwards Sam Gagner and Dylan Holloway won’t play against the Philadelphia Flyers but are expected to return for the weekend, coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters Tuesday.
Gagner has been day-to-day after suffering an undisclosed injury against the Devils and didn't make the trip with the team to California. In 18 games this season, he has four goals and five assists for nine points.
Holloway has been out with a lower-body injury since sliding hard into the boards in a Nov. 13 win over the New York Islanders. Holloway has one goal in 14 games this season.
