Edmonton Oilers winger Zach Hyman will miss Tuesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights with an illness.
The Oilers made the announcement 30 minutes before puck drop. Hyman was a full participant in the morning skate, lining up in his usual spot next to Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Calle Jarnkrok took Hyman's place on McDavid's line and Sam Gagner re-entered the lineup on the fourth line.
Hyman has been an impactful player for the Oilers this season, leading the club with 12 goals and sitting third on the roster with 22 points.
