The Edmonton Oilers have loaned defenceman Philip Broberg to the AHL's Bakersfield Condors after a slow start to the season, the team announced Friday.
Broberg has no points in eight NHL games this season and played just over five minutes in Thursday's loss to the Dallas Stars.
Broberg, 22, has appeared in 77 NHL games over the past three seasons.
No corresponding call-up move was announced by the Oilers.
Edmonton returns to the ice Saturday against the Nashville Predators, a game that can be seen on Sportsnet and Sportnset+, starting at 1 p.m. MT / 3 p.m. ET.
