Another night, another milestone for Connor McDavid.
The Edmonton Oilers superstar registered the 900th point of his career on Tuesday night after he assisted on Zach Hyman's second-period goal against the Philadelphia Flyers.
McDavid became the fifth-fastest player in league history to hit the 900-point mark, doing it in 602 games. Only Peter Stastny (589), Mike Bossy (582), Mario Lemieux (463) and Wayne Gretzky (385) did it faster.
The assist was McDavid's second point of the night, as he opened the scoring with a beautiful end-to-end goal to give the Oilers the early lead.
McDavid finished the night with five points, the 10th five-point game of his career.
After a slow start to the season, McDavid has started to come on as of late. He now has at least one point in 17 of his last 18 games and has climbed back into the top five in points.
McDavid's play has also helped the Oilers climb back into the Western Conference playoff race as they came into Tuesday's action just three points back of the final wild-card spot.
