The Edmonton Oilers will finally get to see Olivier Rodrigue make his NHL start.
The 24-year-old was in the away team's net during practice as the Oilers prepare to play on the road against the Anaheim Ducks.
Rodrigue got his first taste of NHL action when he made his debut in a relief appearance against the Seattle Kraken on March 27. He stopped seven of eight shots in the appearance.
In 40 AHL appearances with Bakersfield, he has an 18-15-7 record with a 3.05 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.
Edmonton recalled Rodrigue on an emergency basis, with Stuart Skinner sidelined after he was hit in the head by Dallas Stars winger Mikko Rantanen's knee.
