The Edmonton Oilers placed left winger Adam Erne on waivers on Tuesday.
After an impressive pre-season on a professional tryout, Erne, 28, was released but then signed a one-year, two-way, $775,000 contract on Oct. 13.
In six games with the Oilers, Erne failed to register a point and had five minutes in penalties.
