The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed forward Tyler Ennis to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday.
The deal is worth $1 million, according to Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston.
Ennis, 31, had two goals and four points in nine regular-season games with the Oilers after being acquired from the Ottawa Senators at the 2020 trade deadline. The Edmonton native also chipped in with a goal and an assist in three post-season games before a lower-body injury ended his season.
A veteran of 11 NHL seasons after being selected 26th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2008, Ennis has racked up 133 goals and 313 points in 613 career regular-season games.
