Nugent-Hopkins has been out since sustaining a lower-body injury Dec. 31 against the New Jersey Devils.
The native of Burnaby, B.C., has three goals and 23 assists in 30 games this season.
Meanwhile, head coach Dave Tippett said Mikko Koskinen will start in net for Edmonton.
