Defenceman Philip Broberg, who earlier this season requested permission to talk to other teams about a trade, has been sent by the Edmonton Oilers to Bakersfield of the AHL, the parent club announced Thursday.
In a corresponding move, defenceman Ben Gleason was called up from the Condors.
Broberg, 22, has appeared in 77 NHL games over the past three seasons. He was also sent down to Bakersfield earlier this season. In 10 games this season, the eighth-overall choice in 2019 has no points over an average of 10:32 time on ice.
