Calgary Flames defenceman Oliver Kylington has been sidelined just one game into his conditioning assignment with the Wranglers, Calgary's AHL affiliate, with a groin injury and will be out day-to-day.
Kylington hasn't played in the NHL since the 2021-22 season, taking time off due to personal reasons. He recently started skating with Flames personnel and was assigned to the AHL on a conditioning assignment last week.
He played his first professional game in nearly two years on Thursday, when the Wranglers took on the Ontario Reign.
Kylington, 26, was selected by the Flames in the second round, 60th overall, at the 2015 NHL Draft and has suited up for 168 NHL games.
