Ottawa selects D Gabriel Eliasson with second-round selection

The Ottawa Senators kicked off their second day at the NHL Draft on Saturday, selecting defenceman Gabriel Eliasson with the 39th overall pick.

The six-foot-six Eliasson had six points over 36 games with HV71 Jr. in Sweden last season.
