Florida Panthers forward Anthony Duclair is set to make his season debut against the Buffalo Sabres Friday night after missing the first half of the season with an injury, head coach Paul Maurice said.
Duclair, 27, injured his Achilles tendon during offseason training, which required surgery. He has been sidelined for 60 games.
Duclair played a key role in the Panthers' run to the Presidents' Trophy last season, posting career highs in goals (31) and points (54) in 74 games.
The Laval, Que., native was selected in the third round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the New York Rangers and has since played in 470 games, amassing 252 points.
