The Florida Panthers have re-signed defenceman Lucas Carlsson to a one-year, two-way contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Calrsson, 24, appeared in 12 NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season and was acquired by the Panthers in a trade on April 8. He appeared in 18 AHL games last season split between Panthers affiliate the Syracuse Crunch and Blackhawks affiliate the Rockford IceHogs, scoring 12 points.
He was originally a fourth-round pick by the Blackhawks in 2016 and has appeared in 18 career NHL games.
