The Florida Panthers will be without forwards Aleksander Barkov and Sam Bennett when they face state rivals Tampa Bay on Tuesday night.
The club reported that both players have injuries that will keep them out of the game against the Lightning, which can be seen on Sportsnet at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
Barkov, 27, has 16 goals and 50 points in 49 games this season, making him the team's third leading scorer. Bennett, 26, has 14 goals and 35 points in 56 games.
Both players are expected to return by the weekend.
The Panthers (29-26-6) are in sixth place in the Atlantic Division with 64 points and fighting for a wild-card playoff spot.
